Our scooter rental service includes two helmets, safety lock, full risk insurance with excess, free cancellation with 24 hours notice, roadside assistance and unlimited KM.

Yes, all our vehicles have full risk insurance with excess.

Yes, of course, it is possible. At the end of the booking, when you will be asked the method of payment, select “Pay at Pick-up”.

You can pay in cash, by credit / debit card or by bank transfer.

You need to come with your passport or identity card and your driving license. To rent a scooter with CafeMotorbike you must be in possession of a valid driving license and valid under the laws of the related country.

The minimal requirements for our rental points in Spain, are identified below. The mentioned categories match with the official European driving license categories.
  1. 125cc scooter:  Min. 21 years, A1/A or Min 21 years and  3 years of experience with B
  2. 3-wheel scooter: Min. 21 years, A1/A or min 3 years of experience with B.
  3. From 150cc : Min. 21 years and A or A2 (max 35KW) category driving license
Note: If your driver license is not from a country of the European Economic Union or from a country without convenience agreement with Spain, you need to have an international driving permit (IDP). Likewise, the valid documents are regulated by the law stated by the country where you are driving, not the document’s origin country.
Yes. A security deposit must be paid for the scooter or motorbike. The deposit can be paid in CASH or CREDIT CARD. However, in the case of a Card Deposit, it will not be charged to your card unless there is an event that would require it. If, on the other hand, the extension of the all-risk guarantee is extended, “TOP” the deposit will not be required. The security deposit is:
  1. Scooter 125: € 100,00
  2. Scooter 125 maxi: € 200,00
  3. Scooter 400 maxi: € 350,00
The security deposit can be paid in cash or by credit card and will be refunded at the end of the lease.
If your scooter or motorbike breaks down, call us immediately on the number shown on the rental agreement.

You are fully covered by the insurance for damages against third parties. For damages caused to the scooter, or theft of the scooter, the insurance reduces the amount to be paid to an excess – in a case of compliance with the rental agreement. There is also the possibility to get an excess reduction for your scooter insurance.

The insurance which is already included in the rental price covers third party damages. Additionally, it also includes road assistance. The damages on the scooter or theft are covered with a excess from 500€ to 2000€, depending on scooter type. All the accessories (helmets, top case, GPS, gloves, lock etc.) are not covered by the insurance and are paid apart in case of loss or damage.

Yes. You can purchase an extra insurance with different access reduction limits in a case of damages or theft of the scooter.

Apart from excess reduction additional insurance has other benefits, such as coverage of wheel puncture, vehicle replacement in case of incident and others. Please, check the details in Extras description at step 2 of your online Booking.

Yes, we do. You can add at step 2 of your online Booking extra Delivery / Pick up service and we will bring your scooter to the location which fits you the best.

Yes, you can modify your booking with more than 24 hours before the booking date and time by sending your request to booking@cafemotorbike.com.
Modifications within 24 hours before the booking starts are not allowed.

Our cancellation policy is the following:
  • To cancel a reservation the renter must send an email to booking@cafemotorbike.com with more than 24 hours prior to the pick-up date.
  • If the renter cancels his reservation more than 24 hours before the pick-up date, a full refund of the amount paid will be made (in case of online prepayment)
  • If the renter cancels the booking less than 24 hours before the pick-up date, no refund will be made (in case of online prepayment).

The renter has to inform the rental shop about any contract extensions in advance. Due to the contract conditions, CAFEMOTORBIKE will charge 50€ fee and cost of extra time in case of late return without being informed. Moreover, it is illegal to drive with an expired rental contract. In case the renter would like to extend the contract it is necessary to inform the shop and to have an updated contract, which can be picked up from the shop or sent by email.

Unfortunately, no. Once started the rental the amount paid will not be refunded. We do not make money refunds if the renter returns the scooter (or/and extras) before the date and time mentioned in the contract.
